Home Run Heroes programs can be moulded to suit the relevant age groups by the coach/leader making changes to the activities and game format delivered.
For 5 to 7 year olds – it is recommended that suitable warm up activities are delivered for 15 minutes each session before playing modified games of T-Ball.
For those 7 years and above, it is recommended that suitable warm up activities are delivered for 15 minutes each session before playing a modified, slowpitch format of softball.
The key difference is the use of the tee for batting for younger groups, eliminating the requirement for pitching. This ensures maximum fun and learning opportunities for all.
The age groups for Home Run Heroes are a guide, however the program is designed for children aged 5 to 12.
It is expected that, where possible, groups will split into similar aged groupings to ensure maximum enjoyment.
The cost of Home Run Heroes will vary from venue to venue. The RRP price is between $40 – $80 per program, with the optional participant packs to be purchased if desired from the online shop.
