Australian U-15 Women’s Team Announced for 2025 World Cup in Italy

Softball Australia is proud to announce the athletes and officials selected to represent Australia at the 2025 WBSC U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup in Italy. This talented group of young athletes will have the incredible opportunity to wear the green and gold on the world stage as they take on the best emerging softball nations in the world.

In addition to the main squad, a group of reserves has been named, ensuring the team has strong depth and support leading into the tournament. These players will be invited to train alongside the team as they prepare for the World Cup, and may be called upon if any of the team members are forced to withdraw from competing at the tournament due to injury or illness.

Leading the team as Head Coach is Amanda ‘Reggie’ Fairley (SA), who brings a wealth of experience in player development and leadership to the squad. She will be supported by her coaching and support team, with recently retired Aussie Spirit player Stacey McManus (NSW) joining as Assistant Coach, Michelle Waller (QLD) as Battery Coach, and Bec Ireland (QLD) appointed as Team Manager. Their combined expertise and dedication will ensure the squad is well-prepared for the challenges ahead. 

The team will depart for Italy in late June 2025, with the tournament to be held between 27 June – 6 July 2025, and is set to provide valuable international experience for the next generation of Australian softballers. 

Softball Australia congratulates all selected athletes and officials on this significant achievement and looks forward to following their journey to the World Cup.
