For a 7-day period starting on Monday April 15, Softball Australia is holding its first ever National Team Merch Drop, opening pre-orders up for supporters to show their support of the Aussie Spirit and Steelers with a limited merchandise run.

A highlight of the Merch Drop is the option for fans to pre-order supporter jerseys with their favourite Steeler or Spirit team member’s name and number.

Softball Australia CEO Sarah Loh connected the event to her conversations with members around the country, saying “At every event I’ve been to, members have asked me for a way to get a Spirit or Steelers jersey so I’m excited that we’re making that a reality. This is our first ever Merch Drop and is a fantastic chance for softball fans around the country to get behind the national teams in a World Cup year for the Spirit and a World Cup Group stage for the Steelers.”

The limited release gives fans the chance to order two jersey types – a 2-button green softball jersey or a full-button green baseball jersey, along with Steelers and Spirit logo caps ready for pre-order. Fans will get the chance to pick their player’s name and number from the current Spirit and Steelers teams or show their support with a team supporter jersey with no name or number.

Merchandise can be fully pre-ordered and paid through the Softball Australia website, with Official Apparel Supplier GAME Clothing fulfilling the orders directly. Pre-orders will close at midnight AEST on Sunday, April 21.
