Travelodge Aussie Spirit pitcher Ellen Roberts and Minamo Ogaki are back in action this weekend in the Japanese Professional League.

Roberts and her team will be looking to bounce back after a tough loss against Shinogi in their last outing nearly three weeks ago in Division 1 of the league.

Minamo Ogaki can gain some ground on the ladder this weekend with two games in week seven of the competition at Seiyo Municipal Uwa Stadium, they currently sit ninth for the year.

First up on Saturday, the 5-8 Minamo Ogaki face Iyo Bank, also on five wins, at 2:00pm AEST. In their last meeting, Iyo Bank held Minamo scoreless for a 3-0 win, they're ranked 10th on the ladder.

On Sunday, Roberts will face fifth place Honda who have chalked up eight wins on the season so far, their last fixture was also a close affair, Honda emerging victorious 3-1. The action kicks off at 12:30pm AEST.

In Division 2, Kaia Parnaby, Stacey Porter and their SG Holdings team have another weekend off, their next match-up coming Friday 8 October.
