Officials confirmed for Under-18 Men's World Cup

Softball Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Callum Beashel (NSW) as assistant coach, alongside Tony Jackson (NSW) as the video analyst for the upcoming U18 Men's World Cup.
The selection committee received a considerable number of strong applications and conducted a thorough selection process. Shortlisted candidates were invited to support the recent training and selection camp, followed by an interview process to finalise the appointments.
Beashel, a debutant to national team duty, brings fresh experience and expertise to the new roles. His appointment not only strengthens the coaching staff but also provides a pathway for coach development alongside the players, enhancing the team's overall growth and potential.
Beashel, a member of the recent World Cup-winning Steelers team, offers invaluable personal experience of competing and succeeding on the World stage. He has also been coaching the U16 Boys academy for several years and has served as an assistant coach for the NSW U18/19 Boys team.
Jackson brings a wealth of experience in his role, having previously served as a video analyst at the national level, Jackson has demonstrated his expertise in providing valuable insights and analysis to enhance team performance. Currently, he is actively supporting the three Australian teams participating in the prestigious Canada Cup. With his deep understanding of the game and his commitment to utilizing technology to gain a competitive edge, Jackson's contributions will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the U-18 Men's World Cup campaign.
In their support role Beashel and Jackson will work alongside Head Coach Adam Rindfleish to develop the players over the next four months. They will provide in-person support to players in their respective states and maintain regular online connections with players from other states.
Dr. Clare Humberstone, National Pathways Manager, expressed her satisfaction with the selection process, stating, "We were impressed by the quality of applicants and are delighted to appoint a debutant coach who has displayed strengths in engaging with and developing players. Callum's expertise in coaching key skills will be crucial in helping our players succeed in the tournament. The Under-18 Men's World Cup provides a fantastic opportunity for both the players and coaches to experience world-level competition and further their development."
With the appointment of Beashel, and Jackson as the video analyst, the Australia U18 Softball Team finalises its officials for the U18 Men's World Cup. Head Coach Adam Rindfleish (NSW), Team Manager Lesley Darby (NSW) and Physio Archie Glassock (QLD) complete the dedicated team set to guide and support the young athletes throughout the tournament.
