Further Changes for Aussie Spirit and Spirit Development

Softball Australia will make further changes to the Australia representative teams for the Canada Cup and World Games following squad developments over the weekend.

Mya Geros is withdrawing from Aussie Spirit to spend time with a friend, who has been fighting leukemia. Mya wishes to stay in Australia and support her friend during this time.

Softball Australia is understanding of Mya’s position, and will make a contribution to the Leukemia Foundation in support of Mya and her friend. A GoFundMe page has also been created in support of Mya's friend, Dakota.

Accordingly, Tamieka Whitefield has now been added to the Aussie Spirit team, and Rebecca Shafer has been added to the Spirit Development team.
