Elyse Eley Appointed as new National Finance Manager
Published Wed 18 Aug 2021
Softball Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Elyse Eley as National Finance Manager servicing the National body and Member States and Territories who are in-scope under the One Softball Governance Model.
Eley brings a wealth of experience from professional sporting organisations to Softball Australia along with significant financial acumen gained through prior roles with the Western Bulldogs and Essendon Football Clubs in the AFL and Western United Football Club in the A-League.
Softball Australia Chief Executive Officer David Pryles said the appointment is significant for the organisation as a whole but especially the One Softball Governance Model, in providing a shared service for financial duties with each in-scope Member State and Territory.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming Elyse to Softball Australia as National Finance Manager,” said Pryles.
“Her experience working within high-profile sporting organisations will be invaluable in managing our financial needs in softball across the country.
“I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing Financial Controller Hari Prasad who has taken up an opportunity outside of sport after just over a decade working with Softball Australia.”
Eley will officially begin her role with Softball Australia next Thursday 26 August.
