Call for Applications: Aussie Steelers and U23 Men Assistant Coaches

Softball Australia is calling for expressions of interest for the following positions for the upcoming 2022 Softball World Cups: Open Men Assistant Coaches, and U23 Men Assistant Coaches.
Expressions of interest are also being sought for the position of Team Manager for the Australian U23 Men’s team at the 2022 WBSC U23 Men’s Softball World Cup. Click here for more information.
Aussie Steelers Open Men: Assistant Coaches (3x positions available)
The 2022 WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup will be held in New Zealand from 26 November – 4 December 2022. It is expected that the Australian team will come together approximately two weeks prior to the commencement of the World Cup, for training and tournaments in the lead-up to the event, and possibly a selection camp in May.
There is also the possibility the team/squad will have other training camps and tournaments during 2022.
The Assistant Coaches must be available for all programs for the Australian Men’s team/squad.

Aussie Steelers Assistant Coach Position Description
Australian Under 23 Men: Assistant Coaches (2x positions available)
The 2022 WBSC U23’s Softball World Cup will be held in Argentina from 22 October – 30 October 2022. It is expected that the Australian U23 Men team will come together approximately two weeks prior to the commencement of the World Cup, for training and tournaments in the lead-up to the event and possibly a selection camp in May.
There is also the possibility the team/squad will have other training camps and tournaments during 2022.
The Assistant Coaches must be available for all programs relating to the Australian U23 Men’s team/squad.

To be considered for these positions, applicants are required to:
- Submit a formal application using the Application Form, including member state endorsement.
- Include a copy of their resume.
- Include a short cover letter with reference to the key position criteria from the Position Description.
