Softball Australia is excited to announce the 2025 Australian U-18 Women’s Softball Squad, marking an exciting step forward for the next generation of elite softball talent.

The selected athletes have been invited to attend a Selection Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in late March, where they will train under the guidance of Australia’s top coaches. This camp will play a pivotal role in determining the final team for a planned international tour later in the year.

The squad will be led by Head Coach Leigh Godfrey OLY, supported by a highly experienced coaching staff, including Assistant Coaches Neridah Wearne and Andrew Havercroft, Battery Coach Lyneene Orsini, and Team Manager Janell Behrendt.

Softball Australia National High-Performance Director - Peta Searle, OAM expressed her enthusiasm about the squad announcement, stating, “This is a fantastic opportunity for our young athletes to develop their skills. The future of Australian women’s softball is incredibly bright.”

The Selection Camp will provide athletes with intensive training, team-building opportunities, and valuable exposure to high-performance coaching, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges ahead.
