Aussie Spirit wins their first game of the Olympics

A tense 1-0 win over a tough Italian team gives the Aussies their first win.
The Aussie Spirit looked more settled today in a nerve wracking games against a tough Italian line up.
Kaia Parnaby was strong in the circle going 6 2/3 innings, replaced by Ellen Roberts for the final out of the game. The Aussie defence was strong, playing error free softball.
Leigh Godfrey led the way with the bat, picking up 2 hits. Jade Wall's single scored the Australians only run for the game.
