Day 3 Schedule:
Game 11: NSW v VIC 11:00AM AEDT
NSW 8 def VIC 0
NSW: 8R 7H 2E
VIC: 0R 2H 2E
The strong showing from New South Wales continues as they put seven past the hosts in the opening inning to take game 11 in five innings.
Hayden Shaw got the day started with a second ball homerun in the bottom of the first, and Caden Keed followed suit with a homer of his own to score Haiden-Jesse Reveco.
Victoria’s defence settled in the second, holding NSW to the solo score off a Michael Owen double, but the damage was done.
NSW kept the VIC batters contained, with Matt Beach in the centre for all five innings, taking seven strike outs and allowing just two hits.

Game 12: ACT v QLD 1:30PM AEDT
QLD 6 def ACT 4
QLD: 6R 7H 2E
ACT: 4R 6H 3E
Queensland overcome the ACT 6-4 in a close battle.
It was tight through the first few innings. QLD managed one in the first and another in the third, with the ACT finding a score in the fourth.
A rain delay broke the play up a bit in the fifth, adding some time for the teams to evaluate each other.
The contest blew open in the sixth. Queensland found their third run in the top of the inning to restore their two-run buffer. The ACT then found their rhythm with the bat, triggered by Kyle Doherty’s triple to score Nathan Lynch.
Koby Conroy-Boceski connected with a single to bring Doherty home, before coming home himself to give the ACT the lead for the first time.
Queensland then found themselves in the top of the seventh trailing by a run, but Jeremy Waters made sure it was short lived, hitting a homerun to score Ayden Champneys.
Heading into the bottom of the seventh, with their two-run lead back in-hand, Queensland looked to close the game out. And close it out they did, with Layton Reid in the centre facing four batters to secure a hard-fought win against the ACT.

Game 13: NSW v ACT 4:00PM AEDT
ACT 6 def NSW 4
ACT: 6R 6H 0E
NSW: 4R 8H 2E
ACT show what they’re made of, handing NSW their second loss of the tournament.
The ACT never lost their lead after Matthew Harrow hit a homerun in the third.
They continued to build in the fourth, as Lachlan Spinelli bagged the ACT’s second homer of the game to score Ruben Cook.
Tyler Damon’s single scored Nathan Lynch in the fifth, to give the ACT a 4-0 lead.
Jarred Garland’s double in the bottom of the fifth got things cooking for NSW, as they found three, including a home run to Tyler Kelly, reducing the difference to one.
But the ACT were determined to bag the win and came out in the seventh ready to bring it home. Up stepped Harrow again with his second home run.
They kept the pressure up in the bottom of the seventh, holding NSW to just one run to secure the win.

Game 14: QLD v VIC 6:30PM AEDT
QLD 5 def VIC 3
QLD: 5R 4H 2E
VIC: 3R 7H 3E
Queensland move into outright first with their win over Victoria to end day three.
The early momentum was all with QLD as they shot out to a 4-0 lead after two innings.
The home side didn’t give up though, wrestling back two runs in the third, thanks in part to Sheldon Waller’s second ball home run. But QLD didn’t allow much more for the VICs to get back into the game.
Jye Robinson gave VIC a fighting chance with a homer in the seventh, and VIC were close enough in the seventh to potentially tie the game.
Hayden Gillet’s double gave them a runner on base as Tristan Little stepped up to bat, but Little’s hit didn’t quite get the distance to clear left field.
The score remained 5-3 and QLD held on to the win.
