New South Wales comeback to win by three after trailing the ACT by four.
The encounter began with all things square in the first, and NSW found an edge in the second thanks to Boston Lowe’s home run.
Two singles in the third helped NSW find two more runs, but the ACT came alive in the bottom of the inning to score five and make a statement.
They backed it up by holding NSW runless in the fourth, while adding two more themselves.
NSW scored three in the fifth to start their comeback, tying the game at 7-7 through a Lowe single to score Haydan Shaw.
Comeback complete, NSW then went on to hold ACT to no score in the sixth and seventh, while finding the all-important leading runs.

Game 7: VIC v QLD 11:00AM AEDT

Queensland storm home with an eight-run seventh inning to claim their third win of the tournament.
After their eight-inning thriller last night, QLD brought the energy in the first inning of the rematch against Victoria. Jeremy Waters getting the scoring started with a sacrifice fly to bring home Ashlee Goffer, as QLD put five up to open the game.
It looked very one-sided through the first four innings, as QLD continued to build their way to an 8-0 lead.
Looking to avoid the runs-ahead-rule in the fifth, the VIC batters found their way into the game. Cody Smith got the ball rolling with a third-ball homerun, the first of six runs in the bottom of the fifth allowing VIC to not only avoid the runs-ahead-rule, but be right back in the game.
It remained close in the sixth, as QLD were held to a second scoreless inning while VIC added one more to make it 8-7.
The QLD hitters found their zone in the seventh scoring eight in the inning, including a Haydan Dobe homerun that added three. VIC were held scoreless, and QLD secured the win.

Game 8: NSW v QLD 1:30PM AEDT

The 1:30PM game finally comes to an end after 7PM, as a significant rain system moved through causing delays.
Queensland hand New South Wales their first loss of the tournament so far, coming home strong to run out 8-1 victors.
It was neck and neck until the third when QLD found three runs in very windy and tricky conditions.
Caden Keed’s home run was all NSW could manage, coming in the sixth inning, not long before the rain delay.
QLD had managed to extend their lead by another run just as the rain started to come down, but it was after the resumption of play that they really kicked off the scoring.
Corie List hit an RBI single before Layton Reid brought home three with a home run to score Riley James and Jeremy Waters.
List pitched four innings, combining with Lincoln Walk to take 10 strike outs.

Victoria records their opening win of the tournament, returning from the rain delay to secure the win after just five innings.
Jack Hotere-Moana and Marcus Ferraro grabbed an RBI each, while the VIC batters made the most of the windy and tricky conditions to score seven from just four hits.
Taine Slaughter took six strike outs from four innings pitched.
Floyd Nola came in to close the game out in the fifth with one strike out and no hits, helping to keep the ACT scoreless and trigger the runs-ahead-rule.

New South Wales bounce back with a clinical display and a 10-0 win over the ACT.
Boston Lowe continues to have a good tournament, scoring 4 RBIs from his solitary at bat – a home run in the bottom of the first that really helped set the tone for NSW.
Matt Beach had a solid session with the ball in hand, taking six strikeouts and allowing just one hit in four innings.
Beach also scored an RBI, while Haiden Jesse Reveco and Caden Keed combined for another 3RBIs.
