Four Western Australians put up multiple RBIs, while Kirra Gilchrist notched up six strikeouts in three innings of work. WA triggered the runs ahead rule after the fourth inning.

Seven runs were scored in the last two innings and four of them from Victoria who got off to a great start in the tournament. Ina Carillo led the batters with 3RBI while Holly Reynolds carved through the ACT lineup with 11 strikeouts for the game.

A sixth inning run put South Australia in the lead, with Harper Bridley amassing eight strikeouts over a complete game. Bianca Markham scored 2RBI for Queensland in the loss.

NSW started strong with four runs in the first inning and didn't let up, adding two-runs in each of the third, fifth and six innings. For the ACT Abbie Pruvis went 2-2 with an RBI while for NSW Zoe Taylor and Jessica Smith both contributed 2RBIs. Smith was also a force with ball in hand, striking out six in her three innings.

Western Australia finish their day with a big win to take them to 2-1 for the tournament thus far. Kirra Gilchrist, Chelsea Te Whata and Haylee Nelson all contributed RBIs while Grace Delpero pitched the distance of the five-inning game, registering a strikeout.

Queensland stormed out of the gates, putting up 17 runs in 3 innings to make short work of the ACT. Bianca Markham continued her run of form with the bat, adding 3RBI as she went 3-3 and Ruby Civoniceva went 2-3 with a triple and an RBI. Julie Fulton recorded one strikeout in her three-inning outing.

Queensland started their campaign in convincing fashion, with three batters putting up multi-hit games. QLD triggered the runs ahead rule after the fifth inning. Dane Spann and Tipene Harkness shared the Maroons pitching duties, clocking up six strikeouts.

Western Australia nearly pulled off an incredible comeback, however their four-run seventh inning wasn't enough. The high-scoring affair yielded 16 runs in the first three innings, with Queenslander Corie List going 2-4 with 3RBI and West Australian Geoffrey Kerr going 2-3 (Home Run and a double) with an impressive 5RBI.
