Western Australia took out the final off the back of a dominant hitting performance, with their middle-order hitters proving too dangerous.
For WA: Jason Garner went 1-2 with 3RBI, while Heath Buswell, Brett Walker and Dion Harrison registered multi-hit games, while Mark Harris added six more strikeouts to his day's count along with a hit.
For QLD: Scott Watson went 2-3 and David Metekingi went 1-3, but a tough third win for the day was just too much of an ask. Metekingi and Kevin Ray shared the pitching duties, with Ray putting up 6 strikeouts and surrendering 3 earned runs.

The championship winning performance from NSW was delayed after the second pitch with a fire-alarm evacuation. The hour-long pause did nothing to dampen the Blue Bloods, with the top of the NSW line-up proving to be too strong for Queensland, with five hits and 4RBI from the first four hitters putting the result beyond doubt.
Suzanne Fairhurst struck out another eight batters in five innings of pitching work.
For Queensland, Kirsten Bell was the lone RBI hitter, while Melanie Thorburn and Sandy Holden shared pitching duties for 5 strikeouts.
