The Starz reversed the outcome of their Round 1 7-0 loss to the Firestars, inflicting the first loss of NSW's campaign. SA also broke the drought of runs scored against NSW, being the first team to score in six games of the Gilley's Shield thus far.

The Firestars respond to their first loss in convincing fashion. Taylah Tsitsikronis and Chantelle Ladner both hit home runs while Gabbie Plain and Kaia Parnaby combined for 9 strikeouts.

The Titans clawed their way back from a 4-0 deficit, scoring four in the fourth inning, before adding three runs in the seventh and shutting the Heat off with loaded bases to grab the win.

The Heat shut the Diamonds out with Emilee Solomon pitching a complete game for two strikeouts. Suzuka Yamane and Brooke McNamara did the damage with the bats, gathering 4RBI between them.

The Flames improve to 3-3 off the back of an error-free game, with Justus Perry pitching the complete game and grabbing an RBI with the bat. Tori Bolland's 2RBI triple was the batting highlight for WA.

A 4-2 game turned into a 10-3 game after South Australia scored six runs in the fifth inning. The Starz took advantage of two costly errors, a bases-loaded walk of Sarah Tonkin and an RBI single by Chelsea Robinson, and the Titans could only score one run in response, triggering the runs-ahead rule after the fifth inning.

Seven runs to the Titans across the fifth and six innings but the result beyond the reach of WA, who had clawed their way back to 4-4 in the middle of the fifth. Errors in that inning were costly for the Flames, while Victoria finish their triple-header with two wins and a loss.
