The fourth played out 0-0 and NSW looked to reset. Ryan King stepped up in the fifth to help rebuild the lead, hitting a homerun to score Zane Van Lieshout and give QLD some work to do at 8-4.
QLD found one in reply through a Regan O’Neill single that scored Riley James, and then held NSW scoreless in the top of the sixth.
