Softball Australia Awaits Upcoming Vote on LA28 Olympic Inclusion

Statement from Softball Australia Chief Executive Officer Sarah Loh regarding LA28’s proposal for Baseball/Softball to be included in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games Program:
“Softball Australia is delighted to see the inclusion of women’s softball on the list of proposed sports by the LA28 committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.”
“Being included in the Olympic Games program provides an immeasurable boost of inspiration to the volunteers and players who make Australian softball great. Starting from schoolyards and softball clubs, every community takes pride in helping to put our athletes on the world stage. Together we will inspire a new generation of softballers to pick up a bat, ball and glove and start their own softball journey.”
“We eagerly await the result of the vote at the 141st IOC session in Mumbai this Monday, the 16th of October.”
