CEO Announces Departure from Softball Australia

Softball Australia Chief Executive Officer Rosie Williams OBE has informed the Board of Directors and staff of her resignation and will depart the organisation in September 2023.
Williams will be returning to the UK and has accepted the role of CEO at British Eventing.
During her tenure, Rosie Williams led several initiatives that have helped grow participation, improve the high performance environment and outcomes, as well as driving organisational efficiency and financial sustainability.
Williams expressed the delight she had in working with the team, saying "I've had a really great time at Softball Australia. The board and the team have been fantastic to work with, and I know they'll work hard with new leadership to continue to improve Softball's standing in the Australian sporting landscape."
Softball Australia Chair Richard Lindell says: "Rosie has made a significant contribution to Softball in Australia. Her passion, energy and ambition to make an impact has borne positive results for our sport. The board thanks Rosie for her contribution and wishes her all the best as she returns to the UK in a new role.”
The Softball Australia board is now recruiting for the role of CEO through the AIS talent acquisition team.
