Softball Australia Board Update

At the recent Annual General Meeting two board members announced their farewell. Softball Australia Chair Richard Lindell lead the tributes to the departing members:

“Two long serving members of the Softball Australia board in Chris Heron and Fiona Crawford have completed their terms and are departing the board. Both Fiona and Chris have had an enormous and positive impact during their long periods of service. They represent the very best of the volunteering spirit evident throughout our sport, with their focus always on the long term interests of Softball in Australia - most notably in our efforts to grow participation and improve high performance outcomes. Both Fiona and Chris are highly valued members of the SA board team and will be missed by their fellow directors. On behalf of the board, the national office and all of Softball in Australia, we thank them for their efforts and impact, and we look forward to their continuing contribution to Softball in different roles in the years ahead”.
