Softball Victoria and Waverley Softball Association feel extremely honoured to be hosting these two premier events on the Softball calendar.

Both the U14 Girls Regionals and Gillies Shield are set to be an exciting and competitive event in January 2025, bringing together some of the finest athletes from across the country, to compete at the highest level.

Whether you are a player, coach, parent, or supporter, your presence at Waverley here will make this championship a celebration of talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Throughout the week we will experience outstanding displays of skill, determination, and dedication. We love the atmosphere created by the cheers and celebrations that this kind of top-level softball elicit. It’s this spirit of camaraderie that makes our sport so special.

The players have worked incredibly hard during their preparation and January will be their time to shine! Each pitch, every play, and every moment is an opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game we all love.

The coaches and officials’ commitment, leadership, and passion in developing athletes to represent your state is recognised. Your guidance and support are invaluable to the players, and we appreciate everything you do to foster these athletes, especially the U14s who are our next generation of softball stars.

To the families and supporters: we acknowledge the dedication it takes from you to ensure your athletes get to attend an event like this and we hope you enjoy the fruits of your labour as well, culminating in your shared experience here in Victoria. We hope you take pride in being a part of this journey and continue to create lasting memories with your athletes.
